Työnhaun englantia

витту, tääl mä taas pähkäilen työhakemusten parissa. Nyt mun pitäisi kirjoittaa englanniksi taas työhakemuksia. Onneksi en ookkaan niitä koskaan kirjoittanut. Minulla onkin niitä tuolla varastossa muistitikulla. Nyt kuitenkin kaivoin jostakin salaisista kätköistä jotakin tämmöisiä Making application - esitteitä. Nyt minä opettelen oikeen writing application in English. Opit on sitten hyvässä säilössä täällä blogissa, kun niitä joskus tarvitsen. Kaikki minkä nettiin laitat, pysyy netissä. Eikö se niin mennyt? 

Minä oon sitten aina rakastanut englantia. Oikeen on ollut kouluarvosana 5 englannin kielestä joskus Lukiossa kauan aikaa sitten. Ei kai äidinkielen lahjatkaan ole sen paremmat. Kunhan täällä kirjoittelen. Mutta nyt kuitenkin asiaan. 

Enste katotaan, et millaista hlöä se tuleva työnantaja hakee: 

Accountant tai Accounts payable specialist

Vaatimuksina: 

- Fluent in English, swedish etc.

- Education in accountancy

- Relevance experience in accounting

- Strong analytical skills with attention to details (??????)

- Strong sense of duty and operating tasks

- Customer service orientation

- A team player with good communication skills, good problem solving skills (????)

- Open and positive attitude

- Eager to learn and develop

- International mindset and the ability to cope with fast changing environment

Aloitetaan näistä. Miten hakemuksen voi aloittaa? Starting point.

* I am writing to apply for your XXX advertised in the XXXX (Wholy crap, what a boring start!!!)

Koulutuksesta voi kirjoittaa:

I have graduated with a Master of Science degree from Hanken School of Economics in Vaasa, Finland. My main subject was accounting and I studied in Swedish, but also in English. During the last three years, I have had the opportunity to work in many areas of accounting, and I really believe that this experience has prepared me for the industry.

Työkokemuksesta voi kirjoittaa:

I have strong experience in payroll administration, accounts payable, bank account reconciliations, invoicing, statutory accounting and monthly loss and profit reporting in XXX City Council....

At the same time my role as an exam assistant at XXX has included customer service in English and Swedish.

 

Kyvyistä ja ominaisuuksista voi kirjoittaa: 

- I can speak good english and swedish because I have studied accountancy in Swedish and English for five years. I have been an exchange student in Sweden and I have worked in England and New Zealand three years...

My good understanding of accounting principles, familiarity with Finnish and International accounting standards and other laws/regulations and outstanding customer service skills are the reasons I have thrived in this accounting career.

 - I am a highly numerate and IT literate person with a strong emphasis on team working

- Studying accounting has enabled me to develop a range of accounting skills, in particular those of analysing and interpreting income statements, balance sheets and different ratios.

Time is running out and I need go for jogging. Joten aika laittaa englannin harjoitus purkkiin. Voi voi jestas, mitä kauheeta sontaa kirjoitin, taas. Onneksi minulla on jo valmiina ne muutamat kymmenet englannin kieliset hakemukset, jotka olen rustannut milloin millekin yritykselle. Nyt lähetän ne kahteen unelmien työpaikkaan. Kyseiset firmat eivät jaskaakaan jaksa kiinnostaa, vaan ne työtehtävät. Helveteäkö mä firmasta, niin kauan kun eivät huumeita kauppaa ja kuppaa rahojaan Panaman tileillä. Mut kyl on persauksista jauhaa jaskaa englanniksi, aina saman kaavan mukaan. Hello, ketä kiinnostaa? Ei kyllä kirppiksen muijat ja äijän käppyrät tälläisiä joudu rustaamaan. En tiedä heidän englannin kielentaidosta. Enkä voi epäilläkkään, he voivat olla ihan hyviä englannissa. Mutta ei duunari juuri tällaisia joudu kirjoittamaan, kyllä se meidän valkokaulusten ongelma. Toivottavasti palkat ovat sitten hyvät, kun joku lahjakas saa paikan. I wish it would be me!
